Music Therapy: Music Charms

“Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, To soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak.” William Congreve. That, of course, is a poet’s take on music. On the other hand, music therapists claim it has the charms to heal troubled and tortured minds. A significant part of music therapy, the treatment encourages patients to listen, sing and play music in a group or individually, as part of the cure.

It has been noted music tends to have a most remarkable effect on withdrawn patients under treatment for alcohol / drug abuse and acute psychiatric disorders. Not only does it draw them out, but it also helps to open them up, enabling patients and doctors to communicate in a non-verbal manner. Performing together or on ones own, creating music instils a sense of accomplishment, while it makes a connection with other people. There is no need for words to exchange, yet a change is sensed and felt. Self-esteem becomes evident as alcoholic patients and drug abusers develop a sense of their worth, while morose patients become animated, and smile without effort.

In the words of Al Bumanis, Communications Director for American Music Therapy Association: “The power of music. You don't have to be a musician to benefit from music, sometimes it's something as simple as creating rhythm together using drums, tambourines, maracas.”

Music therapy can be applied to single individuals or groups, from making them listen to playing music. Playing the whole gamut from jazz, blues, rock ‘n roll to golden oldies, emotions, feelings find a happy release as the music plays. Since most popular songs relate to personal problems, patients instinctively gravitate to song lyrics they empathise with, and as thoughts loosen, the start of more in-depth psycho-therapy sessions is initiated.

Dr. Julie Trudeau would like you to try it out yourself. Either slip on a digital music CD collection or strum a guitar or rattle some maracas or beat a rhythmic drum roll in sync with your heart beats! An outpouring of leashed emotions, you will find yourself much happier than when you started out!

Music: a natural form for healing

Music has always been used for Healing and it was found that Music is the best and the great tool for the Therapy. It is believed that the more harmonious and pleasing this sound is, the more beneficial it is to us for healing purposes. Different areas of the body respond to the sounds made by locking in or “entraining” to the sound and beginning to vibrate at the same frequencies, thus bringing harmony and healing. In research, the human voice has been shown to be one of the most powerful and effective instruments in healing. The therapist tones, digital music or sounds notes in the subtle energy body of the client. The soft and the harmonious sounds work greatly for the healing purpose.
So healing by sound or music is an ancient but natural form of healing which has probably been in use since the beginning of civilization. It is a subtle but powerful process which mankind has instinctively used over the years, and which in this modern age science is now beginning to find evidence for and recognize.

Digital Music: Music Healing enhances the personality

Life is like music; it must be composed by ear, feeling, and instinct, not by rule.
-- Samuel Butler
Music is considered to be the great tool in the form of therapy. Music therapy is the use of music to induce relaxation, promote healing, enhance mental functioning, and create an overall sense of well-being. Music therapy cannot be randomly done by any amateur person. This therapy should be conducted under the guidance of the experienced and trained music therapist. Considered one of the "creative arts therapies" or "expressive therapies" (which include art therapy, dance therapy, writing therapy, and drama therapy), music therapy can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies or healing treatments. With its beat, melody, and lyrics, music is a kind of language in and of itself. Because of this, music therapy can be used to help the mentally and physically disabled express themselves. It can also encourage introverted patients to become more outgoing and can be used to draw schizophrenic and autistic patients out of their isolated worlds.

Digital Music: Healing with the Power of Sound

For centuries and in all countries & traditions, harmonious sound – i.e. music - has been used as a way of soothing the mind and emotions, and in some Eastern cultures it has long been realized that the beneficial effect actually goes much deeper than just a sense of emotional well-being; harmonious sounds also have a healing effect on the body at a cellular level. To enable an understanding of how Sound Healing works, it is useful to realize that everything in creation is actually energy, vibrating at different rates. Modern physicists continue to find evidence to support this belief.

For instance - dense, apparently inanimate objects like rocks look like solid matter, but are in fact energy forms vibrating at very low frequencies. At the other end of the spectrum, light vibrates at a very high frequency. Everything in the universe is vibrating. As energy forms, we as human beings are also vibrating. Within a certain range of frequencies, the human ear is able to perceive vibrations as what we call “sound”. Sound Healing is the therapeutic application of sound frequencies to the body and mind of a person, with the intent of bringing them into a state of harmony and health.

Music Therapy for Heart, Body and Mind Cures

A recent study conducted by Duke University reveals, heart patients who practised deep breathing while listening to soothing music were less likely to die of heart problems than those did not follow the procedure. Digital Music: The best tool for meditation

Whenever we talk about the meditation we imagine that meditation needs the environment where no sounds and voices are present. Meditation is a spiritual practice which is performed in order to feel the inner soul. Meditation helps a person to feel the existence of the universal spirit. Music plays an important role in the practice of meditation. The Digital music has various vibrational sounds which help in the process of meditation. Generally digital music for meditation is light classic, but it can differ from person to person. Digital Music Recounts Music Therapy

Whenever you feel tired and stressed the best way to relax is listening to the favorite music. It is the best way to chill out. After the Second World War the modern concept of music as a therapeutic tool began. Music therapy sessions are designed on an individual basis, depending on the particular goals and needs of the patient; it is impossible to describe a "typical" music therapy session. Encompassing much more than simple listening to music, music therapy may involve song writing, discussion of lyrics, performing, or other activities related to music. Music therapists work in a wide range of clinical settings, including traditional hospitals, outpatient clinics, addiction treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, schools, senior centers, and private practices.Digital Music is the tool used in the Music Therapy. The vibrational sound that is used in the Music Therapy is the main cause of the Healing. So there is a great relation between the Music Therapy and the Digital Music.

Music Influences Emotional, Mental, Physical Health

The world of medical science has come full circle, beginning with herbal cures; it is back to the starting point with in the news alternative and music therapy, once again. No where is it more evident than utilising music therapy in the cure of modern ailments i.e. emotional, mental problems to physical cures.
And, with each cure, music therapists prove music is magic, music is more powerful than the most potent modern medicine. Music therapy has been found to enhance early childhood mental capacity and increase spatial intelligence. So much so, hospitals have begun gifting new mothers with educational and digital music kits to build fertile minds in their newborn babies. Music is known to instil self-reliance, self-esteem, and hope in the very places where dreams and hopes are in desperately short supply.

Not only does music advance our society, it speaks to our soul, helps bring cultures together, sharpens our brains, and dispels negative emotions, while fostering positive thinking. Researchers believe music has the ability to return damaged minds to complete normality. Scientific studies reveal music stimulates specific areas of the brain, areas responsible for motor control, memory, language and timing.

And, Neuroscience has begun to define music as a universal language of emotions, moods and desires, orchestrating a wide range of neural systems, as it casts an evocative spell that no one is oblivious to. Despite cultural differences and musical tastes, digital music involves our brains at almost every level, a great tool that helps us meditate. In its turn, meditation thickens the brain’s cortex region that is of great importance in cognitive, sensory, emotional thought processing.

In all earnestness, Dr. Julie Trudeau entreats you to slip on a disc of soothing, classical music for your newborn or as your children do their homework. And, if you are suffering from work stress or depression, dress yourself to the nines, slip on a CD of digital Latin music or reggae beats and dance your way to freedom and good emotional and physical health!

Digital Music: Effects of Music on health

Digital Music and the music have a great and positive effect on our health. Digital Music has been shown to increase endorphin levels which are the body's feel good hormones. They can reduce pain and induce a natural high. Research involving music therapy has shown that music relieves anxiety and provides distraction from pain by inducing the release of endorphins. In a research it is shown that music can decrease the level of stress hormones in the body significantly.

Stress is caused by the release of the hormone cortisol in the bloodstream. Music can trigger past romantic associations that the brain has linked with certain songs or pieces of music. This can summon intense romantic or sensual feelings from the past to manifest in the present. Digital Music can slow down or equalize brain waves. The slower the brain waves, the more relaxed and peaceful we feel. Music reduces body tension and improves body movement. The auditory nerve connects the inner ear with all the muscles in the body (Vibroaccoustic memory). Music affects body temperature. Music, especially music with a strong beat can raise body temperature because musical energy dissipates as heat.
There are great benefits of Digital Music on our good health.

Slow and Soft Music

Various researches shows that slow music produces a relaxing effect, while musical pauses further modulate heart rhythms and circulation patterns in a beneficial way. The effects were most striking for those people who have musical training. Slower breathing has been linked to lower blood pressure and may help the lungs work more efficiently.

Music with faster tempos and simpler rhythmic structures resulted in increased ventilation, blood pressure and heart rate, the researchers found. When the music was paused, heart rate, blood pressure and ventilation decreased, sometimes even below the starting rate. Digital music caused declines in heart rate, with the largest decline seen with raga music.

Digital Music has been shown to have beneficial properties including reducing stress, improving athletic performance and enhancing motor function in people with neurological impairments.

Digital Music: Assessment Of Music

Music is a secure, exhilarating, and innovative way for people to realize, investigate, and work through personal issues related to their stipulation. Music plays an important role in improving immune system functioning. The non-verbal component of music compliments traditional psychotherapy, especially for patrons who have impenetrability vocally expressing and articulating their thoughts and feelings. Music provides the individuals with self-exploration, stress management, and social support.

Music uniquely addresses the unmet needs of a person in many areas. The touching, communicative nature of music can serve as a bridge to self-awareness, insight, and identification of feelings. Music stimulates association, affect, and imagery in ways that analytical, verbal processes cannot. Music, like meditation, through its configuration and arrangement, can serve as a foundation experience for those who are frantic, frenzied, or stressed. Digital music also supports the development of social skills and the expression of feelings, while relieving anxiety and stimulating ordered thinking and physical activity. Music can also be useful in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Musical familiarity can improve self-esteem and prop up feelings of health and well-being.

Music: Healing from the Roof of the World

Music: Sacred Temple Music - Throughout the world, and through time, ancient cultural societies performed ceremonial sacred music and dance on auspicious occasions believing it opened and established communication lines with higher powers, beneficial powers that brought about healing on personal, social, and environmental levels. Whenever, a monastery in Tibet held celebrations for a spiritual festival, the people from surrounding villages and nomadic tribes congregated in the monastery courtyard for 3 to 4-days of sacred music and sacred dance. Using traditional temple instruments like bells, cymbals, drums, high horns and long horn trumpets, they chanted sacred mantras in accompaniment to the music, in an effort to generate energies conducive to world healing.

Music: Mystical Art of Healing - Ancient Tibetan medical tradition believes if mind, body and spirit are in sync, then and then only can it lead to effective healing, and create feelings of well-being. Immersed in Buddhist tradition, it is believed chanting sacred mantras (a repetitive sound), helps harmonise cosmic macrocosms and human microcosms for a complete balance among spiritual, psychological and physical elements of human health and existence.

Using singing bowls, mantra chants and sacred songs, Tibetans have learnt music and sound reduce stress, reduce muscle tension, enhance immune system functions, slow and balance brain wave activity, while increasing endorphin (happy hormone) levels, thus evoking strong emotional feelings of love and inner peace. Scientific studies prove unrelieved stress to be the underlying cause for an extensive range of diseases from heart attacks, hypertension, stroke, migraines, ulcers, inability to concentrate or sleep and irritability.

Music: Sacred Chants of Ecstasy

Music: Healing the Mind, Body and Spirit - “I'm into the sound. Sound is what heals people. That's how shamans cure, that's how Jesus cured, that's how Buddha or today's shamans and seers, that's how they cure, man - with herbs and sound and colours, and they restore the cells and molecules.” Carlos Santana. Kirtan, absolutely sublime, is an ancient form of chants and prayers set to music, the Indian sub-continent’s Sikh answer to the Gregorian Chants of the western world. Kirtan singing is an attempt to reach across infinite space, a beseeching and calling out from the deepest wellsprings of the heart, a heartrending plea to touch and be touched by the Divine Presence. This ancient form of sacred music has always had the power to invoke the Divine, and by singing kirtans, one begins a journey of healing and enlightenment as the human soul surrenders to the divine will.

Kirtan music, as gentle as the sound of falling rain, ecstatic rhythms that quell the rage of human emotions, and transport the singer and listener to a state of quiet tranquillity. Kirtan music with the sitars, accordions and tablas or Indian kettle drums creating a swirling, steady tapestry of sounds is accompanied by soul caressing vocals that help calm the mind, bringing peace and healing to the listener. The purpose of kirtan music is to get us out of our heads into our hearts, so we may align our body rhythms with the vibratory rhythms of the universe.

Music has been known to lower blood pressure, heart and respiratory rates, increase and bolster our immune system, reduce cardiac complications, and boost the body’s natural opiates. Integrating mind, body and soul means physical and emotional wellness and music plays a significant part in helping maintain a healthy lifestyle or healing serious ailments. The therapeutic power of digital music dissolves tension, releases emotion, spurs the healing process, and improves emotive and corporeal health which in turn improves the quality of life.

Digital Music: the music that brings the mental peace

Music is the key to a thousand emotions. We associate music with the places we have been, the times we have experienced and the people in our lives. Music is all around us. There is no denying the effectiveness of music. There is no question that it can help us to shape our environment effectively and can be changed to suit or influence our mood.

Digital Music is a complex language that can convey any emotion or conjure a response from any person. At the same time music is simple and universally understandable. We are used to others using music to influence our emotions and therefore decisions. However, we rarely use music's benefits to help ourselves. Relaxing music or relaxation music can be used to relieve stress unwind after a hard day at work, promote good sleep or as a focus of concentration during yoga or meditation.

Digital Music is just a part of relaxation, but can be the key to calm and relax your mind and body. A good habit can be built; find a quite room, put work worries to one side and allow yourself time to unwind - dim the lights, light some candles or incense or whatever you find calming. Close your eyes and focus on the sound of your breath. Take in the same amount of air and breathe longer breaths but less often. Relaxing music is a great focus for an exercise like this or any relaxation technique. Listen to relaxation music at a volume level that is high enough to mask any background noise but not so high as to be overbearing.

Digital Music and Vibrational sounds: Affects the Cognitive Domain of Brain

Music has a great effect over our mind. It directly affects our on the subconscious and the conscious mind. Music has a great effect on the Cognitive part of the mind. Music generates internal, abstract or symbolic illustrations. Music has a great capacity to stir up deep and rich emotions. Music is considered to be the important and essential social outlet for emotional release. Not only that Music has a capacity to heighten emotional life and that emotions are an important component of the music experience.

Now the question arises how music affects our Cognitive domain of our brain. Our brain is basically divided in two major hemispheres. One of the hemispheres is affected by the verbal sounds and music and the other one is greatly affected by the non verbal sounds and these non verbal sounds are Digital Music or we can say vibrational sounds.
Dr. Julie explains about these vibrational sounds that triggers our emotions and helps in the betterment of personality by stress reduction, self realization and many more things. Thus Digital Music and the vibrational sounds plays an important role in our life.

Music: Gypsy Healing

Rom Music: Travelling the Long Gypsy Road

"When you look into my eyes,
And you see the crazy gypsy in my soul,
It always comes as a surprise,
When I feel my withered roots begin to grow,
Well I never had a place that I could call my very own,
That's all right, my love, ‘cause you're my home’.” - Billy Joel.

With musical roots and branches throughout the world, Gypsy or Roma music is indefinable, carrying traces of Rajasthani folk, the birthplace from where it begun its original journey to Spanish flamenco, its ultimate home. Universally misunderstood, often reviled, the Gypsies poured their heartache and heartbreak, their loneliness and sadness, hot passions and deep hurts into the creation of gypsy music, a sensuous, free-wheeling groundswell of music that impresses itself upon one’s soul. The songs and music of the gypsies tell a story of the suffering in their lives, travelling and trading along long and lonely roads, on a forced march. Harassed, marginalised, stalked by poverty everywhere, instinctively, they used music to feed the soul, to banish blues, a upbeat release for angry emotions.

Roma Music: The Fabric of Gypsy Passions - “Time, you old gypsy man, will you not stay, put up your caravan just for one day?” Ralph Hodgson. The wandering Gypsies have left the imprint of their music in every land they have travelled or sojourned in. From Hungary to Spain to Poland to Russia and parts of England, gypsies have embellished and ornamented the local music, making it their own. Romantic, passionate, with an underlying sadness, the gypsies lifted themselves out of the reality of their lives, letting go of negative, unhappy emotions through their music and dance. Believing staunchly in the remedial power of music, they fuelled it with a fiery passion, engulfing body and soul in a musical healing. Psychic and highly intuitive by nature, they understood music nurtures, soothes, and liberates the spirit, strengthening as it heals.

Dr. Julie Trudeau recommends a trial of the same, put on some music, even gypsy music, music that transcends the world, let the healing begin. Visit Dr. Julie Trudeau for detailed information on health and stress management digital music needs! Take a digital music cure!

Bio Waves Sound Therapy: Digital Music

In the Digital Music and the Sound therapy BioWaves Sound Therapy is a new alternative therapy which is researching the effects of low frequency sound and vibration on human health and wellness. Sound Therapy is a new exciting field with the potential to completely shift our heath care paradigms. It offers a simple technique to get very detailed holographic information about the body, and is boundless in its potential ramifications.

We know the power of sound and digital music and that the voice changes with emotional states or illness. Our health or mood can be strongly affected by music, toning, chanting, and singing. Bio-Resonance Frequency Therapy analyzes a recording of the voice to look for clues of nutritional imbalances, or indicators of disease stress and illness.

So we can see from the music and acoustics we can heal our illness. This therapy does not give pain as it has to deal with the sounds and the mind. So these sound and vibrations therapy makes us better by just giving the positive effect on our conscious and the subconscious mind.
Dr. Julie can explain the more on Digital Music and Acoustics healing therapies.

Digital Music and the Sound Therapy

Music has a very predictable effect: Repetitive Music with a beat is very energizing. Have you ever noticed yourself moving or dancing in time to music without intending to? Melodic Music is very relaxing and soothing. Loud unfamiliar Music is very annoying. Have you ever wondered why music is so popular around the world? It is the one constant in every culture, in every nation, on every continent.

Sound Therapy has been around for as long as man could make noise. Our bodies are incredibly sensitive to noise, and although we all realize this fact, we rarely think about it, or really consider the implications that this can have. For example, think of the last time you heard a bone chilling primitive scream or the spine tingling screech of fingernails over a chalkboard. So the Sound therapy should be according to the psychological state of the individual. So the Digital Music has the variety of the sounds that can be very useful for each and every person having their different psychology.

Digital Music Therapy: Medicine Raga

Digital Music: Music Dose - As the pace of life becomes ever faster, the world is experiencing high stress and falling prey to numerous ailments, the direct outcome of stressed out minds and overworked bodies. Take the classic example of call centre employee suffering from severe attacks of four day long migraines, a truly traumatic experience. Tired of ineffective cures, she turned to alternative healing, agreeing try out music therapy. After a physical profile / case reading including pulse rate and personal vibration frequency, her medical practitioner-cum-music therapist prescribed a certain raga (musical note) along with a diet of serotonin (happiness inducing hormone) enhancing fresh juices and vegetables. Six months of four, 20-minute sessions listening to the raga each day, her migraine attacks occur rarely, have decreased in intensity, and last less than half an hour.

Gradually, medical science is beginning to acknowledge the efficacy of music therapy, a clear indication that it has finally come of age. Psycho-therapists, psychiatrists, medical practitioners use it to treat stress-related ailments, depression, Alzheimer’s, hypertension, mental illnesses, skin regeneration, and even in pain relief. Music is used in maternity wards for ensuring normal deliveries, while corporates hire music therapists to help de-stress over-worked employees for increased productivity.

The question is whether music therapy can replace modern medicine. According to a neurologist, soothing music quietens the mind; and certain ragas (music notes) tranquillise the brain’s hypothalamus, the section of our brain responsible for transmitting instructions / signals to body organs. What it means is, when we listen to a raga that appeases, the serenity of the notes we hear, prevent the hypothalamus from sending panic signals to our organs, and a de-stressing of mind and body takes place.

The power of music is amazing; it can lower blood pressure, respiration rates, basal metabolism, decreasing physiological responses to the stress in our lives.

Combining modern medicine with music has a greater success rate if it was used on its own. Take the example of a 72-year old arthritis sufferer taking allopathic medicine to reduce his pain, medicine that relieves the pain but creates digestive problems. Listening to a raga prescribed by a music therapist, he not only reduced the drug dosage for his pain, thereby taking the pressure off his digestive system, music also took his mind off the pain.

Music therapy is no modern day concept but has been used by all the ancient cultures and societies of the world. In conclusion, it is a known fact that in times ancient, Kings never went into battle without their musicians. After a strenuous day on the battle field, warriors erased fatigue and battle wounds listening to soothing strains of music. Today, when kings and warring kingdoms have ceased to be, our lives have assumed the proportions of a battlefield, each fighting our own Mahabharata, battling our own demons, you will find music heals!

Music does wonder to alleviate stress

Music and sound has an invincible power. Nothing is an exception to its laws of natural harmony. The human body is like a musical instrument, expressing numerous frequencies and rhythms in a constantly changing spectrum of life. It responds and resonates in consonance with music, sounds, speech and thought from the environment, and undergoes changes of heart beat, breathing, blood chemistry and circulation of energy in various energy centers of the body.

Listening to music does wonder to alleviate stress. Many experts suggest that it is the rhythm of the music or the beat that has the calming effect on us although we may not be very conscious about it. Music can be one of the most soothing or nerve wracking experiences available. Among the first stress-fighting changes that take place when we hear a tune is an increase in deep breathing. The body's production of serotonin also accelerates.

Digital Music: Music Sensitivity is Authenticity

“Digital music" means you are working with a ballpark figure of real/natural sound. What is a sound from a physical point of view? It is the result of a mechanical disturbance of some object in a physical medium, such as air.

This mechanical disturbance generates vibrations that can be represented as electrical signals by means of a device (for example, a microphone), that converts these vibrations into a time-varying voltage. A digital sound is the result of counting all these values many times per second for a certain defined length/time.

These Digital Sounds directly affect on our subconscious mind which further helps in the stress management and the various forms of therapy which we hear nowadays. Thus Digital music has become an important bart of our life.

Music: Holistic Healing

Music: Mystery Cures - Studies have shown, we can chant and sing our way to physical and mental well-being. And, Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and Christians worldwide, all have thing in common, their chanting brings an abundance of blessings, a lightening of the spirit as they sing the praises of the Universal Soul. Further, to their stupefied amazement, scientific researchers stumbled across the fact that music helps in the curing of neurological conditions i.e. Alzheimer’s, mental retardation, including respiratory problems e.g. bronchial ailments, pneumonia, et al that require oxygen. They noticed singing helped to increase and expand lung capacity, a naturally effective way of increased oxygen flow. On the other hand, chanting was found to charge the brain cells, lower blood pressure, balance heart rhythms, relaxing while inducing a mood elevation.

Musical therapies carried out by a practiced practitioner have been proven to be highly effective for the human body and soul. Physically, they have been found to be extremely efficacious in removing blockages, body fluid retention / stagnation or other such impediments in the body. Also, it helps to release tension, tension that prevents normal energy from flowing, but once normal energy flow has been established, these energies work to alleviate complaints e.g. kidney stones, gallstones, inflammation and arthritis in the joints and muscles, including spastic and menstrual cramps. In addition, music stimulates the glandular system into releasing vitally essential healing hormones to combat stress related mental illnesses i.e. hyperactivity, depression, schizophrenia et al. Vibrational Sounds: Silence within the tones is the cause of healing

We all are familiar and aware that Digital Music is significantly used in the form of therapy. Various vibrational sounds in the Digital Music that are used in the process of healing provoke a great change in the perception of the deceased to get out form the faith of misfortune or illness.

But the basically it is not that sound works for the healing. But it is the silence between the two tones of the vibrational sound of Digital Music. Silence does not mean that the sounds are deficient but it is the secluded remainder of sound. As the silence is created from the sound thus vibrational sounds are used in the process of healing. So we can say that the Vibrational sounds for the process of healing are healing through the use of silence.

We can conclude that Digital Music produces various vibrational sounds which have the very positive effect on the person who is suffering from physical or mental illness.

Dr. Julie explains the usage of vibrational sounds for healing.

Music Therapy: A spiritual way of healing

From the childhood we hear music in different ways. Whether it is in the form of sounds produced by birds, or we perform prayer in the morning. Every creation of God has in a way or other has music in it. Music cleaves to a major position in our society and educational systems as a performing, entertaining art. Music is well thought-out to have positive side effects of alteration, but these are not thought to be essential.

Historically, music has been a primary tool for spiritual and physical alignment, used at political and social gatherings, as well as for family, civic, or educational ceremonies. Music is considered to be the crucial force for healing, because music is simultaneously a structured and a magnificent event. From the ancient period, we have used music in all forms of worship to set a grovelling mood and a mental state, open to the influence of deity.

Music therapy represents that human activity where we work contiguous with the angels. It demands the ability to listen; ear listening, heart listening, bone listening and blood listening. Truthfully spiritual music rouses and stimulates the spiritual seeds that exist in every one of us, waiting to come to life. It lifts us above the level of everyday perception, up into those higher realms where light, love and joy ever reign. The healing properties of music were well known by the ancient civilizations, and they deliberately used it for such purpose. Among primitive peoples, songs and musical instruments, such as the drum and the rattle, were used not only in order to increase the effect of herbs or drugs, but also as independent means of healing.

The inestimable Mind with Music

Music is the manifestation of the human spirit, similar to language. Its greatest practitioners have conveyed to mankind things not possible to say in any other language. If we do not want these things to remain dead treasures, we must do our utmost to make the greatest possible number of people understand their idiom -By: Zoltán Kodály

Music has an immense power in it. With Music one can get "amped up" or "mellowed out;”. Music can soothe, arouse, amuse, irritate, and delight us. Music for the Mind is an exclusive, auditory stimulation program using the rich and obscure Digital Music.

Digital Music offers an exclusive and powerful opportunity for promoting active listening for several reasons. All the music is improvised which gives it a free quality, while the unusual harmonic and rhythmic structures cause the brain to be attentive in a dramatic way.

With repeated listening the language of the Digital Music starts to reveal itself, yet we constantly encounter slight twists and turns that prevent the mind from placing the music into a known format. Since auditory stimulation programs often are created to move us from a place where we are stuck, Digital music seemed particularly well suited for our purpose of encouraging active listening.

Digital Music: An extended form of Ultimate Truth

Human is the best creaton of the god. It has all the senses that makes him different from the other creations of the nature. Human being can feel and and express his feeling. So if we can feel some inner voice which is not our voice, it is not our fingers but it is some reality inside our heart which is self expressing, then it is definite our Soul’s music.
The other musics which we hear in our day today life comes from some instruments or any other source. The inner music comes from our heart and soul. We can also say that the inner music is the oneness of the person. Music in itself has the meaning. Music means self expansion and oneness. The inner Self expands through the oneness. Music is the expansin if the unlimited reality.
Spiritual Musichelps us, feeds and pamper our inner life. Divine music immediately elevates our consciousness, whereas undivine music immediately lowers our consciousness and tries to destroy our sincere inner cry for a better spiritual life. The spiritual person will immediately be affected by this music. So music can change our consciousness provided it is the music that comes from the heart and enters into the heart. Sound in whatever appearance assist in healing and human transformation

Sound has almost unlimited abilities to assist in healing and human transformation. Sound can affect us on the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual. On the physical, sound has the ability to rearrange molecular structure. This is a scientific fact. As we know, everything in the universe is in a state of vibration, from the chair you may be sitting in to the pages of this magazine. One of the basic concepts of healing with sound on the physical body is to project the correct resonant frequency of the organ, or whatever is out of balance, back into the body. On the emotional and mental bodies, music is very effective. In particular, music affects the limbic system, that aspect of the brain which governs emotional response. Through using specific music (specific for the individual), we can help elicit certain emotional responses that may be very therapeutic and transformative in their nature. For the spiritual body, both sound and music can be equally effective. In particular, I believe that self-created sounds such as mantras, vowel sounds and harmonics are most powerful, though of course, listening to either recorded or live music or chanting can also be very effective.Naturally, since we now know of the inter-relationship between the mind and the body, that which affects the emotional or mental will also effect the physical and vice-versa. This includes the spiritual body as well, of course. Thus the sound plays an important role in healing and the human transformation.

Dr. Julie has the diverse vibrational sounds in Digital Music which really helps us.

Musical Vibrations: a great tool of diverse Therapies.

Everything vibrates. Everything in the body vibrates, all at its own special frequency. This is a scientific fact. When we are thrown out of balance through physical, emotional or psychic shocks, parts of our bodies and psyche can weaken or overload, creating distorted and unbalanced vibrations. Through the pioneering work of auditory psychic Sharry Edwards, Vibrational Sound therapy (called Bioacoustics in America) has been developed. Low frequency sound waves (generally below 50hz) are fed back to the body via the brain and re-mind the body where it has become out of balance, what the original healthy frequency was. When the low frequency sound waves that you most need are played back to you, they balance these peaks and troughs to bring the mind and body back to a harmonious state. In this state, the healing can take place. The sound waves are actually vibrating the areas where the energy has become low or distorted, reminding the brain and body of the healthy vibration that was originally there before the problem began.
Thus Vibrational sounds are used as a tool of therapy. Various researches are going on this area. Digital Music and Musical Vibrations deal in various kinds of therapies. Dr. Julie can explain the role of Musical vibrations and the Digital Music in various kind of therapies. To know more about Digital Music, Visit Dr. Julie.

Digital Music: Vibrational music has the therapeutic power

Therapeutic powers of sound have been used spontaneously by the healers from the ancient period. Within the native civilizations and the age old cultures, examples of sound and vibration are as elemental in creation and to wholeness - abound. For example, whales are clairaudient: they can hear both very low and very high frequencies and can communicate through complex vibrational pattern.
Sound is considered to be the influential, primordial force. Nowadays, a growing number of modern practitioners are rediscovering sound as a tool for healing and realignment. Dr. Julie is one of them. Modern science has shown that in the human body, auditory nerves are linked to our sense of proportion and balance, and have the power to shift our energy to the "center," bringing about a feeling of connection and tranquility.
Long ago, the human nervous system was not fully understood - but with intuitive wisdom, healers and shamans of many cultures correctly sensed that listening to vibrational sound helps us to access these auditory nerves in a way which may increase receptivity to healing energy. They knew sounds and music could induce trance states to help identify illness, and even open gateways for new healing energy to flow through.
Dr. Julie has the variety of vibrational sounds in Digital Music that brings the peace of mind and helps in stress management. Digital Music has various sound patterns that acts on the subconscious mind and helps in triggering the emotions.
